The Find of the Century
Dr. M. B. Kincaid, a forgotten figure today, was the toast of naturalists during the Victorian era. Known for his daring expeditions, Dr. Kincaid's research took him to the edges of the known world. His most famous paper "Pintamology" detailed species of never before catalogued bugs, birds and botanical brooches. Though the paper was widely published, the specimens collected by Dr. Kincaid had never been seen by the general public, until unearthed in May of 2017 by a group of archivists working on the extensive collections of Dr. Kincaid.
We are very excited to make these imagined specimens available to the public.
